How to Organize a Class E-mail List[edit]

One effective method to maintain connections among classmates living all over the world is an electronic e-mail list. Referred to as class “listservs” on the HAA website (www.post.harvard.edu), class e-mail lists provide a free way to make class announcements, advertise upcoming events, and send out reunion information. Sending one e-mail to a class listserv automatically sprays the e-mail out to all subscribers of the list. One message has the potential to not only reach the entire audience in a very short time, but it also can generate discussions among classmates and thereby help to build a strong class community. Harvard currently manages listservs for all Harvard College Classes.
