To configure Community Builder, you go to:
Joomla->Components->Community Builder->Configuration
Here you will see a panel with a number of tabs. Note that you must click the "Save" icon to save any changes you make here.
Here's a quick guide to where various settings are:
- Email: The General tab controls user access to email;
- Name format: The General tab controls the format of user name displays;
- Login requirements: The General tab controls what information the user must supply to log in;
- Registration: The Registration tab settings let you control all aspects of the registration process, including shutting it off completely. One exception is the moderation settings, which are on the moderation tab;
- User Profile:The User Profile tab controls what the user sees on his/her user profile page.
